I remember (I may be paraphrasing a little) a notice somewhere along the ground floor corridor of Block D or E saying ‘This is the semiconductor fab lab, if there is an arsenic leak it will smell a bit like cooked fish, or cooked onions, P.S. by the time arsenic can be smelt it’s fatal’.
As I say I may not remember the exact words, but I’m sure in essence (excuse the pun), that’s what it said.
My question is how did they know assertion 1 was true if the 2nd part was true?

James, it was “E” Block I used to work in that block and the group I was in did stuff with Gallium Arsenide!

Sadly I don’t remember the sign.
